Natalie Gulbis with 14.45 holds the number four spot, up one position from 2008.
Elena Dementieva at 13.34 is in 5th down from #4 last year. Elena has toppled the $1M in earnings thus far in 2009 putting her in the lead from an earnings perspective.

Is Paula Creamer losing command?

Paula Creamer, the number one babe on our site, has slowly been losing the commanding lead she once enjoyed. As we get to the meat of the competitive season the pressure at the top is immense.

As of this writing, July 12, Paula is still in the number one spots with 25.09 points. Paula is followed closely by Maria Sharapova who is commanding the 3rd quarter voting at 21.13 points.
Sitting pretty, aren't they all, in the number 3 spot is Ana Ivanovic with 16.18 points.
Natalie Gulbis hold the number 4 position at 14.24.
Elena Dementieva, who surpassed $1 million in season earnings, rounds out the top 5 with 13.44 points.
Maria Kirilenko, Cristie Kerr, Maria Verchenova, Anna Kournikova and Daniela Hantuchova, in that order complete the top 10.

Elena Dementieva #7 into the Semis at Wimbledon

Elena Dementieva currently ranked #7 in our poll, posted a record setting match in Wimbledon, only to fall short of the finals.

Elena is a beautiful 5'11 backhand bomber, currently ranked 4th in the world. With her strong showing she may the first babe in our list to topple the $1 million earnings mark in 2009. Elena tends to fly under the beauty and popularity radar on our poll, but there is no doubt about her qualifications.

She finished the 2008 season in the top 5, number 4 to be exact, and being on top of her game will likely be in contention for 2009.
